There is nothing more rewarding than sharing your talents,
enthusiasm and energy with an organization that
you believe in. On top of that, you are meeting and working
with a group of committed, dynamic women.

The Women's Fund is looking for volunteers, like you, to
become involved at various levels of our organization.
Are you creative? Industrious? Detail-oriented? Organized?
An idea generator? Do you love to speak? To write?
To record notes? You can devote as little or as much time
as suits your schedule.

Consider helping out with a one-time event or becoming
involved on a more regular basis. There is something for
everyone. Your gift of time will truly make a difference
in the lives of other women and girls in the
Oneida and Herkimer County area.

some their skills and connections,
some literally give their life's blood.

Grants
The goal of the Grants Committee is to continue to
build our endowment to further the mission of
The Women's Fund. This committee oversees the
grant making process by soliciting proposals to
identify potential projects for funding and to make
recommendations to the Board for grants to be
funded. The committee monitors funded projects,
receives and reviews fund reports and evaluates the
results of funded grants.
Public Relations
The vision of the Public Relations/Communications
committee is to create awareness and name
recognition of The Women's Fund throughout Oneida
and Herkimer counties and beyond!
Our Mission is to share the initiatives of The Women's
Fund with the residents of Oneida and Herkimer
Counties in order to attract resources in support of
The Women’s Fund Mission.
Status of Women
To establish a clear picture of the status of women
and girls in our community, this committee studies
the specific needs and resources available to assist
them. The Status of Women committee has developed
a report based on a three-year research project
which provides a more in-depth look at women and
girls in our two counties. With this knowledge, The
Women's Fund is able to direct resources to
organizations that fill these gaps and enhance the
well-being of women and girls.
